Check Your Fit: Empower Community Sites to Find the Right Opportunities | Inato

We are excited to announce new updates to our platform, which we believe will increase site efficiency in finding the right trials for them and their patients! With 70% of trials concentrated at just 5% of sites (the majority of which are academic centers), many community-based research centers worldwide are unable to participate in trials that would benefit their patient populations. In an endeavor to empower these community sites to find the right opportunities, our new features will:

  • Save sites time by focusing their energy on the RIGHT trials
  • Save sites time by reusing answers from previous trial applications
  • Increase their chance of being selected for the trials they invest time in

Check Your Fit

After listening to and collaborating with our network of community research centers, we’ve created Check Your Fit as a way to inform sites on whether a new trial opportunity is right for them and their patients before taking the time to submit an Enrollment Plan. Traditionally, sites would fill out long feasibility questionnaires, only to be rejected from a trial due to steadfast requirements that they didn’t meet. Now, in just two-minutes, sites can see exactly what those non-negotiable requirements are and discover how likely they are to be recommended to a sponsor based on their current capabilities.

Pre-Fill Enrollment Plans

Additionally, we’ve updated our Enrollment Plans to reduce the burden of applying to trials. With the new pre-fill feature, sites can reuse answers from past Enrollment Plans and focus their energy on the more important trial-specific details. All pre-filled data can easily be customized as needed to best spotlight the site for any trial.

How these features work:

Check Your Fit

Sites take a two-minute survey asking them quick questions, such as:

  •  How many industry-sponsored trials in this disease area have you completed in the past year?
  •  Do you have access to the required equipment?
  •  What is your PI’s specialty?

Once the survey is complete, sites immediately find out whether they are considered a good fit for the trial.

Conversely, if they do not meet the requirements, they can move on to explore other opportunities on Inato rather than putting time into applying for a trial they are unlikely to be selected for.

Pre-Fill Enrollment Plans

If a site is suggested to move forward with applying for the trial, the pre-fill feature will reduce time spent filling out the information they have already provided in a previous trial’s Enrollment Plan.

With these in place, sites can have more confidence when completing an Enrollment Plan that they are applying to the right opportunity for their expertise and patient needs. Over time, we expect to see a reduction in the time spent applying for trials and an increase in the number of submitted Enrollment Plans that are a strong match for the sponsor. In the short time Check Your Fit has been live on Inato, we’ve already seen a +166% increase in the number of sites electing to remove themselves from a trial application that may not be right for their capabilities.

We’re excited for the way Check Your Fit and pre-filled information will help sites focus their time on the best options for them. Lengthy processes and mismatched applications can become a thing of the past as we continue to work together to build out a product and ecosystem that prioritizes efficiency and transparency.

We value feedback from our sites! Help us continue to make updates that improve the trial application process by volunteering here to share how Inato has helped your site grow or provide feedback for improvement.
